The pedestrianized Ontario Street returns with a 2024 edition focused on the joy of play. Inspired by funfairs and enriched by 2023’s installations, this new edition invites citizens and visitors to gather, play, and celebrate the uniqueness of the neighborhood.

A renewed and playful celebration

In addition to the existing colorful installations, the 2024 edition introduces ping-pong tables, a pétanque court, and chess boards.

Thanks to a collaboration with Société de développement commercial Hochelaga, accessories are available for rent to fully enjoy these games. Interactive totems also invite children to create fun characters.

A vibrant atmosphere by day and night
Illuminated structures extend the fun after dark, while an aerial canopy decorates Place Valois.

A playful green passage and over 250 planters — some featuring edible plants — bring freshness and color to the street.

A sustainable and inclusive project
By reusing and enriching installations from previous seasons, the 2024 edition reinforces its commitment to a sustainable and inclusive pedestrian experience, creating a lively and welcoming space for everyone to enjoy.

Like the neighborhood in which they are set, the installations, stretching for almost a kilometer, are unique, vibrant and colorful.
