Concrete planters, each weighing 2,250 lbs, harmonize with the existing standing bar features while echoing the iconic colors of Plaza Saint-Hubert. Their innovative manufacturing process allowed the color to be integrated directly into the material and enabled the creation of volumes that would be impossible using traditional methods.
An innovative process

Primarily designed as security bollards, these planters provide protection for pedestrian areas during street closures and also integrate seamlessly along sidewalks as elements for greening or enhancing the urban landscape.

With a central attachment system, each module can be moved to accommodate seasonal or event-based needs. A central anchor post allows for the insertion of signage or scenographic components, making the system both adaptable and expressive.

Present year-round, these urban planters are a bold demonstration of the creative and functional potential of 3D concrete printing in our contemporary cities.
